welcome to hotdog films a little information and some examples...
hotdog films is a specialist video and audio production service that deals with both mainstream and many non-mainstream client requirements. in short, i provide digital video and audio production with high definition wide screen and standard definition equipment.
i work in a complete video pre- and post-production lab as well as create original audio drops and backtracks. i can provide full audio remote site recording and post-production fixing and mixing (see the music video clips in the side menu)
my operation is simple and uncluttered and i
generally work alone. this is because of the nature of my work practice and helps keep the costs down, for the most part.
my work ranges from short narrative documentary style films including corporate training videos, cultural events and projects dealing with sensitive issues, training films in the regional allied and community health sectors, including
children's dental care, disabled and aged care and technology.
i also have a long working relationship with the camera and the local indigenous community, koori arts and health programs. a particular cultural interest is films relating to the archiving and promotion of metropolitan and regional musicians and visual artists and stories of a heritage and cultural significance.
my skills are traditionally grounded but my work is direct, lateral and contemporary with a unique delivery of your topic. i am originally trained as a studio photographer with a specialisation in portraiture and reproducing fine artworks for publication and gallery archiving and i still work in that area. my video training is an extension of the formal side of photography and the work i do is sensitive and references the heart of the subject and subject matter.
and my quotes are fairly competitive, i think
so, to talk about your project...
